Made entirely by hand and "cold process", "SAPONI DI SALA" contains absolutely natural and beneficial raw materials for the care and beauty of the skin. First of all, the purest olive oil, which is the main component of the soap, and the precious grape seed oil. Its unsaturated oleic acids help restore the hydrolipidic mantle of the skin, making it silky. Other components are: clays and officinal herbs that determine its fragrance, color and characteristics. We do not add synthetic colorants or preservatives.
Why do we make handmade soaps?
Because we believe that every birth is accompanied by a love story, and our story is one of love for nature, for the gifts it gives us and for the desire to be in harmony with it. This is why we have chosen to produce our soaps on the basis of our own crafts. We make them in small quantities, paying great attention to their success. We respect the phases of the moon in their preparation. We make wooden molds by hand in which we let the mixture rest, solidify and mature. We then cut the soaps into their final shape and finally give them two more months to ripen well and keep their beautiful shape as long as possible. With joy and great care, we package and seal them so that they reach you, or the person you wish to give them to, in their most beautiful form.

Our method of making soaps certainly differs from the industry's method of making soaps, which uses both vegetable oils, such as palm oil, and animal fats: pure glycerin, which forms naturally during the saponification process, is removed for use in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, and is only reintroduced in fine soaps. All this makes the soaps not very emollient and forces users to replenish the skin's natural fat with lotions and creams.
